Daphne's Page

So Daphne had her shots yesterday (ouch!), and it turns out that she is the huge baby they warned us about after all.

(Backstory: our midwives both predicted a 9 or maybe even 10 pound baby; she was 7 pounds 11 ounces.)

Anyway, at her 2 month visit to the pediatrician, at 8 weeks and 1 day old, Daphne is 23 inches long (!) and weighs better than 13 pounds (!!?!), putting her in the 90th percentile for length and the 97th for weight.

I knew lugging that baby carrier out to the car was getting harder.
