Well, Daphne. You could have told us you invited a tornado to your birthday party. Geez! I hope yesterday wasn't some kind of omen for the next year.

Here you can see that the day started out calm and peaceful. I was worried that the daffodils I planted wouldn't bloom in time for her birthday. But, thankfully when I woke up yesterday morning they were just starting to bloom.

Daphne was very happy that it was her birthday and proud that her Daddy had stayed up very late making her cupcakes to take to school for her friends. She also got to wear a special birthday crown that her teacher made for her. Cute.

Then.....as Daphne said, "The torndado ate my birthday!"

Here we are huddled in the basement waiting for the tornado sirens to stop.
