a few random bits:
Actions taken by Mad Bunny, the main character of the story told to me by Daphne, who has been on an invented-language kick recently, on the way home from preschool yesterday:
- hopped up the hill
- dubbled (doubled?) up the hill
- dubbled back down that hill
- dubbled on Daphne’s head
- dupped up the tree (”jumped up the tree?” “no, dupped.”)
- bizzledit that car
- dizziped the water
(A few minutes ago I said something to Daphne in German, and she retaliated by insisting, “dappy! Dappy dappy dappy!”)
animals spotted on the way to and from preschool and work by myself and Daphne:
- deer, usually does (today we saw 9)
- rabbits, nearly every day
- hawks, nearly every day
- horses and cows (captive), every day
- wild turkeys, nearly every day
- pheasant, occasionally
- racoon and possum, very occasionally
- former members of one of the above categories, now smooshed beyond all hope of recognition, every single freakin’ day
songs that have been running through my head for some reason:
- the theme song to “Dora the Explorer”
- the theme song to “Spongebob Squarepants”
- this horrible song from this horrible show called LazyTown that I accidentally watched for a couple of minutes this week, causing who knows how many of my precious, finite stock of brain cells to commit gory suicide, so as to escape having to replay those particular memories ever, ever again
- “Say You’ll Be There” by the Spice Girls
