This song is so pretty, but I do find myself wondering what they’re planning to do with the torch. Sure, everybody wants to get a good look at the new baby, but at the risk of a dropped spark setting all that dingy manger straw ablaze? No thanks!
The title actually puts me in mind of Frankenstein, except in that case I guess it would be more, “Bring a torch, Jeannette, and you, Isabella, grab that pitchfork there.”
